banks techni-cooler woo woo
Was wondering if anyone has had much experiance with a banks techni-cooler. I found one recently at a shop that went bankrupt and was able to pick it up for 400.00!!!! just curious how hard it is to put in and will i see a diffrance with my stage 1's and reburnt chip. I have not installed yet the both the injectors or cooler or chip back. i am finishing my toyota first. So should start this project come 2nd week of april!!

It's really easy to install, shouldn't take more than 2 hours. You probably won't notice any performance gains, maybe slightly better spool up, but you will notice much lower EGTs. Good luck and great deal

Here's the Installation Instructions.
If the file is "damaged" when you try to open it, PM me your email addrss and I'll send it that way (my copy does open OK). Cheers! Last edited by Patrick Feeley; 03-20-2012 at 04:52 PM. |

Thanks was really looking to get about 350 with the sticks and intercooler. I know this number may be a lil crazy, but it would be working in conjunction with all my other mods. I would get a d66 but am still waiting for some one to want to get rid of theres.

yeah! I love my banks, you'll notice smoother throttle response for sure! it feeds both sides of the motor evenly. mine took 3.5 hours to install, but it was easy.

Just did it in mine. Only pain is making sure you cut enough out of the core support to fit everything. Truck picked up a little more on the high end. Gets better fuel mileage too!
