Air/Fuel Seperator Kits
I just bought a 1996 powerstroke and it has a small chip and exhaust done to it. I was wondering if i could get some feedback on the fuel/air seperators. I know they are a lot of money so are they worth it? The truck has 286,000 on it so if its gonna help it last then im all for it. Any ideas?

Personally, I'd convert to a super duty electric fuel pump, and do a regulated return. Or at least a fuel rail crossover hose. It allows any entrained air to pass through the rails and bypass the injectors instead of being forced into them.
I'd also drop the tanks and modify the fuel pick up tubes so they don't pick up as much air. ![]() ![]()

How do you do a fuel rail cross over on an OBS ?

I hate that OBSs are so different and don't have as many options. Idk if you can.
I'm pretty sure you can do a regulated return though. |
