Hey guys, I'm deffinatly going with the 66mm H2e but im alittle worried about the intercooler install. Can i get some tips on how to mount it and what not? Im about certain im just gonna grab a 6.0l intercooler from a local junkyard, sound ok?. Also do i need to get 3 inch plenums? I was told I do and would just grab them at the junk yard while i was there if i do need them.

Here is my current mods wish list..... Look ok to yall? Horsepower estimates?

1. 66mm H2e
2. RevMax Stage 4 T/C
3. T-500 (Possible could get a SRP1.1)
4. Beans fuel system
5. ARP head studs
6. Comp Cam 910 valve springs

And one thing i forgot, when i have my DP reburnt can i just have them tune for the mods i plan on but have not already installed?

this is a great write up, by the way i think if your going with bigger injectors the 6.0 wont flow air fast enough i thought i read this some where but i can be wrong. just make sure you do your research

6.0 intercooler sounds good.
What are you doing as far as an intake spider (manifold)? Modding your existing y-pipe? Getting an E99 spider? Buying a Banks kit or similar? Late 99-03 spider and deleting the fuel bowl?
The first three options will let you keep your 2.5" intake plenums. Late 99 spider will mean changing over to 3" plenums.

The pipes and everything is included with the kit from CT performance

If you're going with a kit designed for an OBS it will be designed around the 2.5" plenums.

Id add some upgraded push rods to that list of mods u got there. with the 238s u have listed in ur sig and combined with these mods and some good tuning i would think u should make 450-500hp. look into a s300 turbo charger lot more options there.

that s300 (with thoes injectors i would go bigger like a S400) would require a T4 mount kit from Irate.... but will create endless possibilties later on down the road!!!


Wait isnt the S300 a T3 mount??? or are there different ones???

One thing to keep in mind, that 6.0 IC has plastic end tanks. You didnt mention what you were planning for injectors, if you are staying small, which I doubt given the turbo you are looking at, the 6.0 IC will be fine, but any injectors stage 2 and above will easily run you over 40 psi of boost and the all aluminum IC will work alot better for you.
Just something to keep in mind.

I just noticed you did have the injector choice listed....I wouldnt be putting a 6.0 cooler in there, you will make more than 40 psi and the plastic tanks wont be liking that
