tuner question

i took my truck to a shop to have some work done on it. the mechanic did a test drive and said he truly believes that the truck has a tuner on it. he said the truck alot more power than most of that year that comes through there. how do you know it does or not. how do know what all has been tuned.

On a OSB unless it has Inj's..or a chip or a resister mod its just a good running truck

it is a 1996 f250 with 235,400 miles on it. it dont smoke and it starts up now on the first turn of the key. the mechanic did say that the valley was too clean. the truck does have a class v hitch under it. it also had a fifth wheel with braces on it. i do not see any add ons. i have not check to see if there is a piggy back thing on the computer. if a flash drive was added you wouldnt see anything either.
