HPOP Growl?

I have a growl when engine is running. BTW 1996 7.3 Manual w/243,000. All stock, meticulously dealer maintained by former owner (have all records and i mean right down to when wiper blades were changed!). Sounds like a wheel bearing going out. Can be heard in cab when going down road. Seems to me to be coming from area of hpop. Not loud but just enough that its kind of annoying. Fan clutch is only about a year old 'cause I thought that was what it was first. But it feels tight and free enough. Any ideas would help. I'm not made of money or I would just change it because im sure its worn. But if I have to I have to. Thanx Crap just realized i posted in wrong room
