TS chip at great price

Hey guys I just saw were a former vendor here is selling the TS 6 position chip for $248. why so much cheaper than what I have been quoted?

Yes,well I also saw that Performance truck products also has it for $249 .Don't understand why some want as much as $425.00

My guess is the TS 6 pos. you see for $249 is a generic tuned chip and the one you see for more money is probably custom tuned for the mods you have. The custom tuned should help you get the most out of all the mods done to your truck. Thats what i think anyways,

They shouldn't be selling at that price, because AFAIK TS has a set minimum price that dealers can sell the chip at, which i believe is called their MAP pricing. I wanna say that price is $360ish, and is what ALL vendors should be selling at.

Or at least thats how it has been explained to me by a couple different people.

thats because the TS your getting has generic canned tunes....

im assuming the 425.00 your mentioning is the TW chip.. well that one has custom tunes which are far superior to generic tunes..

Canned TS chips are everywhere for ~$250ish

Customs are always going to be more, lots of research goes into them

If you look online alot of places say 250 or so, but then when you start picking tunes its AT LEAST 350 when you have 6 on there
