Which down pipe

Fixing to order 2 pc 3" down pipe. Any suggestions on which name brand and from who? Go stainless?

What? The cord hanging down? It's a hybrid.

i got mine from complete performance, its a diamond eye version, i enjoy it and removal of the factory one was a huge pain in the booty, but install was pretty straight forward

Diamond eye here too, although its the only brand I have ever put in.

TYMAR.... call Dale at TYMAR Peformance, its the only one that steps up in size as clearance permits, the Hypermax does also but the TYMAR goes to 4" sooner and it fit great!!

You have to with any DP change, unless you get lucky and get one of those trucks that they set the body way back on the mounts

I got mine off ebay for $85 and it was a MBRP. Went in just fine, I did use a band clamp instead of the crappy muffler clamp.

i did have to cut the lip of the fire wall and bend it in with a bar... no biggy and no jacks were used to push anything. just a sawzall and a 4 ft bar to bend the lip over after i cut it into small sections to make it easier to bend.

it was harder geting the old one out then making room on the firewall
