I need a clutch.

I replaced my clutch & fly wheel about 3 years ago. Its a solid fly wheel set up from N.A.P.A. I hate the way it feels. Its very grabby and I have to start off in low gear to keep it from bucking.

1. Can I use this fly wheel with another clutch?

2. Do I need a whole new set up?

3. I live in Covington Tn. for shipping.

4. Suggestions ?

You can probably use the flywheel unless its got surface issues. I'd suggest calling the folks at SouthBend Clutch to see what they have to say/offer. I had an SBC Con-O on my 94 and had smooth engagement with it. Cheers!

I use to have a 93 GMC 6.5L Turbo Diesel, I converted it to a NV4500 5 Speed, I used the Napa Solid Mass Flywheel but I used a Centerforce Dual Friction Clutch Kit, Was Real smooth, was good for towing as well....6.5 is different than the 7.3 but the clutch was very smooth, not too grabby, could start out almost in 3rd gear lolol, It had the 6.34 1 gear so i hardly used that, just ridiculously low with 4.10s in the rear. if the flywheel is good look into centerforce, Just my opinion
