Another tunes question.

Just have gotten suspension issues taken care of now gonna get a TW tune. Bottom line I just want more power. Don't care about smoke, as a matter of I don't really want any at all. Although it would be fun to smoke some punk who's base is not mixing with my Merle Haggard. Just want the lag gone when I stomp on it and a little bit better mileage wouldn't hurt either. My benchmark in the past for power is being able to light the tires from a stand still. What would I need starting from basically stock 225hp running 285's.

TW tune right away isnt a bad choice as you can get the chip reburned free as you build the truck. Looks like you have the intake and exhaust done, 3" dp on there? If not get it done. I agree with the TW because I have heard he makes alot of power right away with his tunes and thats what you are looking for

Stick or auto? Upgrade the auto with a VB and torque converter. Stick, upgrade with better clutch/solid flywheel.

Intercool it.

Bigger injectors.

More oil.
