exhaust tip
I Just got my truck and it has 3 1/2 inch pipe on it with a 4 inch tip. I cut out the muffler and it does not sound as good as I it. I was just wondering what size tip i should get and what brand. I was thinking a 5 inch but no clue on the Brand.

the tip wont change the sound. you can get 10 inch tip and it will sound the same. to change the sound you will have to get a exhaust system

I have a 6" double wall stainless MBRP angle cut. I really like it, looks real nice. I also have 5" exhaust, so don't know what a 6" tip would look like on 4".

I like the look of duals, just wouldn't like having to buy two tips as they are kinda expensive, but you only have to buy them once.

Also, I think I've noticed QUITE a difference in larger, 7"+, tips then the smaller ones. I once heard an 8" tip and it sounded terrible. Might've been all in my mind though. |

Nope, it all started with me buying my truck and then he got a 7.3 for a work truck, then he got the 96 for another work truck, but turned out to be super clean, so thats his toy now. Then a couple months ago he picked up another 97 that will be all set up as a work truck in about a month or so. We are kinda big big fans of the OBS. I wll have another one by next fall, hopefully.
