Speaking of Rods

Will stock rods hold up to 400 + horsepower?

The powder metal rods will handle right at 400 while the factroy forged steel rods will handle abot 500. Ford started putting the PMRs in around 2000 to 2001 I dont exactly remember when or exactly what s/n they satrted with. The is an inspection hole that you can look at the rods and see which ones you've got.

ON EDIT: I just realized that you posting in the 94-98 forum so you have the factory forged rods which will handle around 500 h.p. easily
