Where is the best source for the tubes to connect to the new filter? I haven't seen dimensions for the isolator to keep the air cool - has anyone made one of those?

Just a question, why couldn't the stock air box be opened up to allow more air flow? That should increase the performance without any expense. I may look for a spare box to play with...

I built a replica of a Tymar using the same parts Tymar uses. I already had the exhaust tubing so I just bought the filter, boot, and clamps. There is no real need for an "isolator" or air box type setup unless you are bored and want to build one, tests have been done and show that once you are moving the underhood temp at the filter isn't any higher than ambient air temps.

I relocated my driver side battery and straight piped my intake to the battery location.

It's the coldest air I figured I'd get without doing a full blown "system" and to be honest I really wasn't doing it to get colder air, I was doing it to get the smoothest air flow.

I have a straight pipe coming off the "funnel?" just after the turbo with a 6637 stuck on the end. Pics are in my sig link
