help!
so im new to the powerstroke... i order a ts 6 position chip and was wondering if its goin to hurt my stock trans? its an auto by the way. i got boost, trans temp and pyro comin with it but dont know where to install them...id like to be able to take it to the 1/4 mile and open her up with out worring that my tranny is gonna blow seeing how this is also my daily driver and the other fact that im goin to wyo tech in a week... ive owned 5.9l 12valve cummins b4 but this is my first 7.3l ps. so ANY info would be great!

With stock injectors you aren't going to hurt the trans too bad.
Gauges are easy- boost gauge can tee into the hose going to the MAP sensor, trans temp installs in a port on the driver's side just above the pan, pyro goes in the drivers side exhaust manifold. There are tons of threads here on how to install gauges and where to put things, look around and check out the photos. |
