extra hpop

Is there a way or has anyone tryed to add an aux. hpop to there system that would keep the psi and oil flow steady after the 15* starts to lose presser at higher rpms with larger injectors. for ex say a belt driven pump that feed the hpo system and keep it at the 3000 psi???

It's called the Gen3 from Swamps.

Do you need it? Maybe depends on your goals.

A solid 17* HPOP is all you need for stage 1's.

OK. I didnt know if there was any one who played with the idea of adding a aftermarket pump to help the 15* ex a belt driven hydrolic pump thats spliced into the hpo lines to keep a constent psi??? would be alot cheaper than a moded 17*

just looked swamps up ya thats kinda what i was thinking only i was going to use the belt system to power the pump not the gears. and the belt driven pump would be remote of to the side of the motor like those old fisher plow pump setups

no, youre not going to want anything aux belt driven, and either way you are going to want the base pump 17*. But IMO you dont want twin pumps unless you are trying to run B-codes, it really depends on your goals

something else to break, none of those are production parts, finding a belt to work, seems like alot of hassle to me. If you really want dual pumps I would do gen3 personally.

But just for stage 1's as your sig indicates. I would drop an adrenaline in there. I am thrilled with mine

Cost wise i could build up a belt driven one alot cheeper than a gen 3. The gen3 is a beautiful unit but there is alot of machine work in that whole resivor housing witch bumps the cost.
A good 3600psi Pump is around 300.
Belt idk the cost?
return and pickup lines are cheap
and then i can machine up my own mounting plate at little to no expence
