Big Hoss Module
I know most people here are fans and suporters of the Tony Wildman tunes.
Just wondering what people think of the Banks Big Hoss Module. Thoughts? Thanks. |

That's what I currently have on my truck, and it's a world of difference over stock for sure. I never even set it to level 5, just 3 & 4 mostly. In order to feel the chip, you have to kinda demand it. Overall I think it's very good quality, I've had mine on for nearly 2 years and have had zero problems.

Thanks for that. In your sig it says switching to custom ASAP. What's that about?

I wouldn't take the chip out. Banks made some good-running programming for sure. The only drawback is that if your truck has an automatic transmission, the shifting/torque converter clutch strategy may not be ideal since Banks' chips are not 4-bank and have to be matched to the actual PCM code.

Hadn't been on in a couple of days....I'm switching to custom only because I've heard how good they are, and because of the trans tuning. Plus, I plan on doin some other mods to my truck in the future that will require a custom tuned chip. I'm putting the banks chip on a work truck that I have when I get my custom one.
