Clutch Options

Looking at a new clutch for my 1996. I was looking at the SB Con OFE 450HP 900FTlbs, as I plan on doing Hybrids and an H2E in the near future. Is this the best clutch out there for the price or can I do better? Thanks, Pete

from what i've read, you def. wanna go to a single mass flywheel also. it sounds like a nice clutch.

i went against the norm, and bought a valair clutch and single mass flywheel. mine is rated similar to yours, and i went this route, because a friend of mine sold me a valair gift certificate for cheap, so i was able to save a couple hundred vs the southbend.

clutch isn't in yet, but i'll report when it is.

I have a Valair and love it. It is full Ferramic (not cerramic). I just drag raced it last weekend. It is rated for 600 HP. I ma making over 400 and it held up like a champ at 3000 RPM launches.
Just my opinion I love the Valair. And they have awesome customer service.
