DIY MODDED 17*HPOP..

anyone know how this can be done DIY.what makes the adrenaline tick??? what feature is in the 17* hpop that is not in the 15*?

Getting the pump apart without destroying it is real hard to do. The difference between a 15° pump and a 17° pump is the swash plate angle. If you want a modded pump, just send it to Joey... its not expensive at all.

whats that web site? i just pride myself on tryin to keep the truck diy.i dont know why,its just a thing i got.i even opted for the rosewood DIY injectors...now theres a challenge,if you want one

Terminator Engineering. He doesn't put the info on modded 17's or pump gut swapping on his website though, so email him or shoot him a PM (pretty sure he's a member here but I don't see him log on very often).

He is "Modifying" a 17* pump? What is the mod - what is he doing to the pump to make it better?

ANYTHING can be a DIY project.
Only limit you have is your ability to figure something out and what access you have to competent machinists.
Taking a pumnp apart is very simple.
Getting it back together again will take lots of practice so that the pump actually works right.

Nobody knows exactly what's done to an Adrenalin, other than it has a 19° swash plate.
Nobody knows exactly what's done to a TE modded pump, either, other than possibly some porting to even the output flow which helps keep pressures up.
And I doubt you'll get specifics from either company, so you'd be on your own to figure out what you want to do.

If you're like me, go find an old pump and figure out how to take it apart, then sit there and be amazed at all the parts that just fell out if it. Spend a few months studying how it works and what does what, then decide if you just want to buy one or try your own mods.

Sounds just like me lol that's great, mine sits in the shop torn apart waiting to know where I can find a new swash plate. Any idears?

And figure out and do all the accociated modding required to make it work.

If it were me, and this is your main means of transportation, go with the unit from either Bob or Joey, both are great, I run the adrenaline and love it
