Intercooler

Im looking to put a intercooler in my truck. will a intake spyder work from a 01? i know ive heard ppl say from a 99. thanks

has to be early 99. the 99.5 and up use a bigger turbo flange

what he said, has to be Early 99 or you could get banks intercooler pipes.

ok thanks guys. is there a way to set it up without using one and just running the piping direct off the turbo and then directly into the y pipe with the y pipe turned around?

it can be done but you would have to cut up two other y pipes. simply because you need that special end for the clamp

You can modify the stock Y pipe to work, but its not easy. I'll post a link later.

has anyone used pvc for there intercooler piping? i know i have seen ppl use it for there air filter piping? or any thoughts on cheap ways to make my own piping?
