Typical EGT's? ISSPro EV2 Gauge accuracy?

Have got a stock truck (2001) and installed the Isspro gauges a few weeks ago.
For about a week after the install i was reading right at 300 degrees at idle and roughly 450 or 500 at highway speed..... After a week or so it sits right at 100 at idle; but it will read 450 at highway (crusing; not accelerating to highway speed)...... any ideas on trouble shooting?? all of the connections look good; how do I know it is accurate? any help would be appreciated!!

250-350 for idle is normal

highway speeds just depends on what gearing and mods ect.

With my setup at 70 with 3.55 gearing, i run about 650*
