IDM Modification
I was wondering what the IDM modification does from Beans diesel Performance, and i was wondering if it would make a stock truck smoke more? thanks....

Just did it to a friend's 96. Can't see any smoke, but it lets the truck rev up significantly faster. If you want to save some money, you can mod the IDM yourself, just need to replace a resistor. Took me about 15 min including removal and installation.

Look into the swamps diesel IDM it is a resistor mod and a frequency mod. It is a huge difference.

IDM mod makes your injectors fire faster and stay open longer.
|

Since you sig is empty I assume your stock? If so you may not feel much improvement since stock injectors are only about 90 CC's but on bigger ones you will get the fuel moving out of the injectors faster.

its a good mod, I could notice better throttle response instatly at first start up

Don't do resistor mods...old school, get a custom Tuned TS chip
