Programer with TS 6 pos.

Can i have my TS 6 Position chip and ALSO add a programer? I have a rebuilt Tranny with Heavy duty torq converter. And soon to have head studs. I hope im putting this in the right area on the site(im new). Thanks for any help. Travis

i have no idea bout the answer but im sure your question will be answerd , fast too.....

no....it will not do anything.....7.3s do best with CUSTOM tuned chips. ts is a goos start but ur better off sending it to tw or php or beans or swamps to get it tuned

how much are TWs tunes?

usually around 300 for the chip 75 for the fist tune and 25 for each tune after that i think....check out his site. totaldieselperformance.com

To answer your question:

Technically, you can run a flash programmer on a truck and then add a chip to it. However, the PCM will not run off of the programmer tuning as long as the chip is installed on the PCM.

Do not reflash the PCM with a chip installed though.
