Edge CS

Installed new Edge CS programmer yesterday all I have to say is I'm impressed this tunner is in whole other league compared to the Superchips unit i was using. This thing moniters up to 8 parameters way better than any gauge set I could have put in. It's set to read EGT's, Engine oil Temp, trans Temp, Boost, air intake temp, Volts, and Speed. Power settings are great for the OBS it has 4 programs, stock, tow, race, and ohh sh__t, the superchips shifted so hard I thought my tranny was going to drop out form under the truck on any setting above economy, not the case with edge shifting is great and right on the money, and if I don't like it it's changable with the press of a few buttons. Highly reccomended for your daily driver!!!

Why? A "custom chip" isn't going to do anything much different than the Edge programmer is doing. The CS platform is very nice and the tunes run very well. The E4OD isn't the most robust transmission on the planet anyway and has a very high failure rate even when the truck is never "tuned".

No, the CS is a flash programmer (the same as any Evolution or other flash programmer) so the key has to be off, then on, then off, then on......program....then off and on again.

Being the exclusive private labeling company for Edge is a good thing. We can use Edge's great hardware platforms and reprogram them with any of our custom tunes.

i have an edge tuner in my truck and i LOVE it... my bf also has a 2000 dually and he has the edge evolution in his truck and it runs amazing... i must say i DO like what edge has to offer.... but along with what the other guy said... any automatic tranny that isnt beefed up for all the HP is going to bite the dust eventually so look into it before you get caught having to replace it cus everyone knows they're NOT cheep!

It is very likely that Bill here at PHP was the one who wrote the tunes your Evolution is using.
