94 and 96

I have a 96 f350 . My father has a 94 superduty dump truck both turbo motors should these motors be the same horsepower rateing? if thare is a diferance does any one know what it is?

^^ Yep, i believe my truck has the mirrors off the old F-Superduty, which was like the commercial pick-up. But if you look on the passenger side valve cover there should be a sticker there with some build info and the power rating on it. You might have to get all the grease and crap off to read it. If they are both powerstrokes they should be same power rating. If the 94 is a IDI it will have less power.

Is the 94 a Powerstroke or an IDI? The IDI sticker for power rating is on the driver side valve cover and the PSDs have them on the passenger side.
