DIY D66 Turbo
Hi everyone! Been lurking and reading and just wondering what all the hype is about the D66? Beans' site says it flows 300 cfm more air, but there is no flow data to prove it. Can anyone tell me what specifically is different from the stock turbo? Seems like a guy could rebuild his stock turbo with upgraded internals for a LOT less than $1125. I am like the rest of America, on a budget! Thanks!

Its just a modded stock turbo. Direct bolt on and i think has bigger compressor wheel. Hint the 66. Should be good for around 450 hp.

So, can parts be obtained so I can convert the stock turbo myself?

i did some reading before i bought mine and there is ALOT of machining that goes into making the d66 what it is i do not believe that you can do this yourself unless you are a good machinist with alot of time to spare and a d66 to get specs from and a way to obtain the parts needed
