7.3l turbo upgrade

ok i have a 95 f350 with 7.3l. i have 160cc injectors ts custome tuned chip s&b intake 17 degree hpop and mbrp straight pipe. my buddy said he would sell me his gt45 turbo and all up pipes and parts i needed for 900-1000 dollars now for some reason he said this between a gt40 and his model gt42 its a offbrand but im think about buying it what would i have to do to be in the high or mids 400s without touching my injectors

Stage 1's are only good for about a max of 375 hp maxed out with a good turbo.

I would get a good turbo, mod your 17* HPOP do electric fuel and get 100% over stock nozzles for your injectors. This should put you around 450 hp.

where can i get nozzles with out ordering a hole stage 2 setup not a fasn of rosewood

Why not? i got my injectors from him and he has great deals and does great work.

If you don't like rosewood, just call around and see who can just upgrade what you have now. What injectors do you have now? Just call them and see if they can put bigger nozzles on your injectors.

im considering upgrading my intercooler and getting water meth with electronic fuel system idm and other stuff like that then dpwn the road up my sticks with bigger turbo

You need a fuel system, a good solid turbo (38r,h2e, qssb etc), hybrids (stage 3), solid transmission, good intake and exhaust just to hit high 400's.....

with stage 1's you wont ever hit 400. With stage 2's you can hit 450 with a real good turbo and good tuning, but depending on the turbo you are maxed out.

Your injectors are cool while they last, but stage 1's are a very very mild performance injector. They are almost just a better stock injector it seems like

Stage 2's have got to 465+ so give it time and they will get higher. A good 17* HPOP is all thats needed. Stage 1's have hit over 375HP I belive. No way in H*** they are like a a little better OBS stocker.

My reference to a stage 1 being a mild upgrade and seeming not much better than stock is after you've driven it for a year with stage 1's. The fun begins to fade and its time for more. So why not do "more" to begin with and skip 1's

And who made 465+ with 2's? What turbo were they running?

I know beans did a decent amount with 2's but they were running a d66 so it wasnt close to 465

I would also like to know who has hit 475 hp with stage 2's. They had to have atleast 200% over stock nozzles. Were they 160cc or higher. I thought beans was the highest with 450 hp?

Many will be very happy with stage1's 300++ hp can get plus the MPG's. Stage 2's hell ya great but more $$ and require a turbo and trans if you want to live..an ya have to have 400++ HP.

I was off a couple hp sorry was going off my memorie. We will see higher #'s
