someone help me please!!!!

I dont know what to do!! i have a 97 f250 and everytime i try puttin a chip on it the wait to start light quits workin and my truck will not start! I need help with any possible problem it mite be any input is helpful! thanks alot!

Did you clean the PCM contacts? Did you clean them to much and damage them? What chip is it?

Need more info, but it sounds like you either cleaned the terminals to much and the chip is not making good contact. Which could be causing your problem.

Or you did not clean them good enough and you are not getting good contact. Which could also cause your problem.

I think dirty pcm is my problem i need to clean it up really good! ands done it with a bully dog 40 hp chip and a ts 6 pos chip i need to clean my pcms and try it.. what should i use to clean it up?

if your real careful not to take too much off a razor blade will work, i've also used a pencil eraser and that worked really well too, also fill out your sig so we know what your runnin

ill prolly try the eraser trick should I use dielectric grease or electric contact cleaner>

1997 F250 heavy duty 7.3 4x4 3 inch down pipe 3 1/2 inch straitpipe. 4 inch rough country suspension lift. 315/75 tires.fpr shim. diy intake autometer gauges (trans temp, boost, pyro). custom front bumper with fog lights. TS 6 stage chip. Jensen dvd head unit. custom side marker lights. custom steps. 16x8 machined xd hosses. bushwacker street flares. light bars under the dash.
