Turbo ring

I hve a 1995 ford powerstroke and someone told me there's a ring in the turbo That u take out n makes the turbo whistle louder? By where the intake goes in.

I think your thinking of the cummins turbo. They have one and its called a silencer ring. I havent ever seen one on a powerstroke.

Yeah. thats a cummins thing

yeah, the only ring I know of on our turbos, is the gasket that goes between the turbo and the Y pipe.
