Exclamation Strategy Question?????

Eric @ IDP and I are playing with some tuning to see how its goes. Not much on the flash side for the old 7.3 so were gonna play around with it and see what we get. The only issue were having is the strategy code from my truck.

Hey says it should be 7 characters of letters and numbers. The one I am seeing is 8 letters and numbers follow by a *. Here is what the SCT X3 pulls from my rig.

FA20P402*

Any ideas on what the strategy really should be?

What do you mean not smart enough? Its a totally different type of programming going into it.

You mean for the transmission shifting? No, it does not train itself like the 6.0 and 6.4 do. But the way the tuning is programed, is it will not need it. This tranny is not as sophisticated as the 5R110, etc. So basically you just do some basic transmission tuning to change shifting, pressure, and lock up times and go.
