Downpipe install?

OK, so I read several post on here that say "removal is the hard part, install is a piece of cake"
I have been screwing with mine for a couple hours and can not get it to go. It's a 3" DiamondEye. I have a manual tranny. I've cut and pried all I can. I can' t get it to move any farther.
Any suggestions?

Tired of messing with it. Buddy's on the way over with a port-a-power.

Yes it is two piece. I did wiggle, and twist, and beat on it.... then wiggled some more, then took it out, pried on the firewall, beat on it, cut on it, beat a little more..... you get the picture. Did it for two hours straight.

Buddy showed up with the port a power and in less than three minutes that puppy was in!
