Help: swapping parts from 94 to 97

OK im hopefully buying a 97 real soon. My ?s are: The stage 1 injectors im running in my 94, can I swap them into the 97? From what I understand the 97's were split shot, so what do I need to do there? Also, I have a 17* HPOP in my 94 and it was modified to correct the drain back issue. Does this need to be redone to put it in the 97 or will it be ok as is? Thanks!

The injectors will be fine, at most you would have to get custom tunes and tell the tuner that they are single shots.

Your injectors with be fine unless the new truck is a cali model. If you got the drain back modded you should be fine i would think, but im not positive.

ok so I can run the single shots in the 97 with custom tuning so does that mean i have to have custom tuning in the 94 to run with the split shots? I hope not...

I bought it in Iowa and he claimed he was the second owner. I will check out carfax thanks! So for sure then: If it is NOT a cali truck the injectors will be the same as the late 94, correct?
