Daily Driver Mods?!?!

well i just installed my new tymar cold air intake with the donaldson air filter!!! i love it!! it definitly gave my truck a little pick me up, next item is a 3" down pipe and a chip. anyone got any suggestions i have a 97' obs crew cab long box 2wd automatic pushin 225,000 miles i was looking at the edge chip because i get guages with it as well. or would i be better off getting a tw chip with a 2 pod set pyro and trans. i would like to have a boost monitor but i dont want to drill into my turbo, i beleive that is what you have to do, am i correct? what about a down pipe is it hard to install on my own i already sawzalled off my cat and mig welded in a blank pipe

The boost gauage ties in by the intake not into ur turbo the hardest part is takin ur old dp off

the boost ties into ur map senson. u just "t" it and fun the line to ur gauge, the pyro gord into just befor the turbo i believe, mine is on the dp so it is a bit off. and get a tw chip that edge wont do much

I don't believe the edge evolution comes with gauges for the '97

The DP isnt bad installing, its cutting the old one in 2 spots to get it out. Just make sure to get a 2 piece DP.
I have an Edge CS. Yes Id love to see what custom tunes would do but I cant complain. I just installed stage 1 injectors and the tow tune on the CS runs great. Im not saying the CS is better than any custom chips but it works pretty good. I just went thru what you did. In the last 4 months I added intake, 3" dp, exhaust, injectors, and intercooler.
My advise is have your injectors tested before too many more mods, mine were SHOT, truck runs awesome now!!!
