HOW DO I LIFT/LEVEL THE FRONT OF MY 97 OBS?
Has anyone did this? I bought a CHERRY 97 5speed 2wd.. i want to put 285/75/16's on there... it has that terrible factory "rake" to it... Ive checked and called Rough Country, Pro Comp, SuperLift and every other lift company... I know somebody has lifted the front of this truck... BTW, it has coils, not leafs in the front...
thanks in advance.. |

Try going to your local spring shop. There is one around here that sells lift coils.

Coil springs are a half ton thing. I guess us big truck driver didn't deserve a smooth ride back in the day.

Ebay has lift/leveling coil spacers all over it. Just do a search, you can get aluminum ones, or rubber/poly ones.
And by the way, SWEEEEEEEET truck And yeah, my obs has coils too |

Yeah, the truck came with the golden kit when I bought it. I paid 5K for my turn key veg truck. It had over 20k in wvo miles. I'm a little let down on the golden kit, don't like sharing the fuel bowl, and my purge is way longer than I would like.
But I love that monster racor. I'm planning on running parallel fuel systems and sharing nothing but the fuel rail. |
