I have a 1995 ford 7.3 powerstroke with exhaust and a ts 6 pos chip. I wa lookin at the stage 2 bean injectors I would like it to blow a nice amount of smoke and they said they can reprogram my chip to do that. What are the best injectors to get? Thanks

depends on how far ur willing to go. i had beans stage Is in mine and could spin the turbo up to 40psi. that lasted about 3 months and that went out, got a H2E system and it wasnt quite enough injector for it, didnt like to light it down low. with my stage Is itd smoke like crazy, the only diff in stage I and II is the nozzles flow mor in the IIs. either way u go plan on getting a turbo cuz these bushing turbos wont handle the added pressure.

dont think theres any better feeling then rolling up next to a ricer with his windows down and leavin him at the light and filling up his civic with smoke.

Are the bean injectors good? And I was planning on gettin a turbo and a hpop eventually. I just sent my transmission to get rebuilt and beefed up.

good idea on the tranny. i loved my beans. if i had it to do over again id prolly give elitedieseleng.com a try. they have some SWEET sticks. with my stage I's id still throw the code for ICP above/below normal if i stayd in it for some time. for turbo, depending on how biga sticks u go with, id prolly either get a d66 or a gt38R turbo. both of those r ball bearing units and can handle the added pressure without loosing much of the spooling ability.

BDP have top notch injectors and tuning. You can't go wrong dealing with them for anything you need.
IMO, Stage-1 work great with the older trucks, stock turbo, fuel system, etc. Once you bump to Stage-2 you will need larger turbo, larger fuel system, etc. I've been running Stage-1 (not BDP) on my daily driver over 2.5 years. Still have stock turbo, trans etc. If you're pushing high boost every second you drive the truck that stuff won't last at all. If you drive normal and use the power on occasion when you need it, and have good tunes that don't bring tons of fuel in early in the rpm's, then the trubo, trans, etc should last a long time. Also, even Stage-1 will require a Super Duty 17° HPOP. Last edited by DZL JIM; 03-27-2010 at 03:39 AM. |

Yeah id go with stage 1's i had got a DIY kit from rosewood and they were really good with the tony wildman chip i had, it gave the truck a lot of power and smoked a lot. i thinks its better with stage 1's because i could leave my stock turbo and everything i even had a stock HPOP and my truck wasnt intercooled and nothing went wrong
