97 powerstroke smoke

ok im kinda new to this site an turbos i have had a 6.9 for the past couple years it hit half a million so i sold it but i have a 97 powerstroke straight pipe and a tymar intake. one of my friends has the same truck only diff his reg. cab mine is extended. he has the sames things i have done but with a stack an his smokes he said it didnt smoke till he put the stack on it can any one help me out here?

97 PSD
straight piped
homemade intake
stock everything else (for now)

well i can assure you the stack doesnt help make more smoke.. about the only thing it does is make it in plain sight at all times. pretty much you need a chip.. wether its a chip tuner or dial.

97 supercab 4x4: work truck. Reallly Loud stereo (16 speakers, none visable), 20's/35s, 6637, straight piped.
99vette: stock.
89crx, working on a idea that involves a 454 bigblock, 2.5tons, and boggers.
Custom built 12' jon boat: yea its got a 50 horse jet drive.

wat would you recomend is the best chip or tuner?
im kind of on a budget for now
an also i have the 10k mod done an i pulled the sensor an it is startin to leak oil is there any reason it would do that or is it just getting out an worn out at the base?

i like the dial bullydog one but my uncles got a superchip and a buddy has another.. i dont know the honest difference betwen them all..
can and wait to see where it pops up again
as for the oil leak theres about 200 places it could be coming from i would suggest wiping down the engine where ever you can and wait to see where it pops up again..

if its not alot its normal, mine does too. I have a Superchip tuner and if I had to buy again I would put a chip in instead. RDS has TS 6 pos chips with PHP tunes for $300. Any tuner will cost the same, I would do the chip.

Also if you havent yet, get a 3" DP on there to go with the straightpipe
