Upgraded my ZF5 fluid
Ever since I completed my manual swap I have been researching which fluid will work best. I previously had just a basic ATF fluid in there. I have read a bunch of threads on different forums about the RED LINE MTL fluid which everyone had good things to say about. I have read that it reduces gear noise and is all around easier to shift... well today I figured I would give it a shot. After swapping fluids I took it for a test drive and I am amazed to say the least. It reduced the gear noise tremendously as well as making it easier to shift in and out of gear... especially when downshifting. I was also having a slight problem getting the truck into reverse gear. The MTL also helped out greatly with that problem. Just figured I would share incase anyone with a ZF5 has been looking for a better fluid rather than the basic ATF

$9.99 a qrt.
Took just under 4 qrts. Parts guy says next time they re-stock it, it will be $12.99 a qrt. Guess the stuff is starting to take a price hike.
