Well tonight i picked up my new injectors. They were pulled out of a blown 7.3. The guy I bought them off of is my brothers friend and runs a small diesel performance shop on the side. He got the motor off of another diesel shop. It was being tested in a customers truck and it blew a headgasket. So that shop had to buy the customer a whole new motor. He was told the plunger and barrels were machined and similar to stage 1's. One is torn down so im going to have it put together, and i want to get them all pop tested before i do anything else. Is there any way to tell what they are without running them in the truck?
An idea my brother gave me was to get these fixed up and ready to go, and then sell them. I could put that money towards some well built and larger injectors for later on down the road. I don't need new injectors right now, so i have some time to make a decision. Just seeing the guys built 6.0 makes super jealous.
