Edge Evolutin CS Diesel 85100

I've been thinkin bout gettin a Edge evolution CS Diesel 85100 for my truck cuz from what i understand, it has multiple power levels, a nice module, and it displays gauges digitally. I am assuming that u just plug it into the OBDII port and it digitally can measure different parameters of the truck. This is one of the selling points for me because i don't want to drill holes in my truck to put a pillar mount up and i've been looking for a good chip that won't tear my truck up...is it worth it? any comments appreciated!

What parameters are you looking to monitor?

tranny temp, egt's, boost, fuel pressure, and anyothers that are needed. i'm assuming this programmer measures them all. it seemed to me that it was all digitally measured via the OBDII port

yea i guess thats true but i'm worried i'd have a leak spring up on me. I'm just lookin to get a fuel economy chip with a setting that I can pull a trailer with farm equipmetn on it. i'm not looking for a performance chip at all. where do u drill the holes to hook up gauges?

I have one, kinda slick. really woke truck up. I watch egt, boost, ICP pressure, oil temp and there is a bunch of other stuff.
All you do is plug into OBD port and them drill for egts. Very simple. I will say ICP pressure reads a few hundred off compared to scan guage and you cant shift on fly. But it is pretty inexpensive if you want a little more power and guages.

$561 plus tax and shipping inexpencive? i can buy a custom chip and guages for cheaper. and to the op u dont have to hack eveuthing for guages. its pretty much take off ur pillar replace it with a pillar with the pods run the lines down the dash and through the fire wall. and u have a stick all u need is pyro and boost

I am not trying to argue here. Guages are 250-275 for a 2 pod setup and $375-$500 for a chip from a reputable tuner.
Is this the most powerful tuner out there, probably not. But its nice with a 16 yr old truck to be able to read alot of parameters and read and clear dtc codes for less than chip/analogs combo
OP asked about a CS, I gave my inputs. Why do people that have never tried one jump in and try discouraging them. Yes, I know alot of people had problems with the old Evolution.
