Lightbulb Turbo Opinions...

Ok so I'll just say blast all your opinions and I'll use it to help me decide. Truck is 97 CC LB F350. Here's a list of whats done, Billet converter, 50% more friction in trans(fully built 2500 in parts), Dual HPOP, Air Dog 150 GPH fuel system, 1.0 turbo housing with wicked wheel, TS 6pos sent out for custom tune. Of course it has guages, and other little do-dads, but not important at the time.

As you can see I have all the esentials out of the way. I'm going to order a set of DIY stage 2's maybe 2.5's depends on how money goes. This is just a patch to get me started into this pulling season. Not going to do a whole lot, but there isn't a whole lot in central and southside Va. I plan custom (350cc+) injectors and a turbo upgrade for early fall, then I'll ride it till I loose the rods or decide to pull it and put the money inside.

So my question is how long do each of you think I have before the stock turbo gives it up? And any suggestions on which way I should go next?

Thanks for all your feedback!

h2e would probably be your best bet if your pulling, i didnt see an intercooler on that list either, once you start making power, especially with that 1.0 housing, your egt are gonna get high

As far as the charge cooler I have a 6.0 and plumbing, but haven't put it on... I'm not sure the H2E is going to do what I want later this year when I go to custom injectors not the stage 2's. I don't do alot of driving other than for fun with this truck so I'm not too worried about the EGT's at this point I'll just keep an eye on them

So the question still is and speculations on how long the mod'ed stock turbo will last with stage 2's before it gernades? I'm still wanting suggestions on the upgrade turbo to come later this year...
