TS chip outdated??

This isnt another tuner question thread haha no worries!

I was talking to some guys and seems like most people on other forums feel that the TS chip is outdated. They feel that the F6 is the newest and the best way to go. If this is the case how come ONLY DP has gone to such a system. It seems like other tuners would be stepping it up in order to get the newest and the best stuff.

Personally I have the TS chip but I love the idea of getting files emailed to me instead of having to send the chip in!
So my question is are other tuners looking at going to a similar deal as the F6? If no i am thinking about switching over, but its a little spendy

Because all the tuners already have the equipment to tune on TS style chips.

The best tuners and tunes on the market still use TS chips FWIW.

Yeah thats what i hear when im on the .org. Its real obvious that this site is in love with the TS chip and the tuners who tune it.

I just wish they would keep up with the latest software so they could email us files. I hate sending my chip in all the time since i update me stuff quite a bit!
I am thinking about buying a f6 just so i can not have to send it in. But then again i've heard horror stories about their tunes, thats why i havent gotten one yet

yeah i know that... I am on all those sites.

But dont you agree that the F6 technology makes more sense? I am not saying which tuners i like more. I definitely like my TW the most.

But i am talking about the chip themselves. We need to get TW, swamps, beans, cale, and PHP all to switch over!

haha well alrighty then! I am assuming you would probably know, so if they arent ever going away from the TS style chip i'll just keep mine and deal with it.

Maybe i'll get a chip burner and have them send me files and i can burn my own

PHP does offer the ability to program your own chip and they use the ts style chip.
