He does have a point. It's pretty much what a lot of cheap tuners are, a trick on the truck.

it is a resistor the is placed in the ICP plug that makes the computer think the injectors aren't getting enough oil presser. so at idle it will have a lope and a quicker throttle response. now it is called a 10k mod but you cant get any k resistor you want i have a 3.3 in mine.

word to the wise dont do the resistor only if for some reaso you deside to do this mod do a "clamp mod" basicly the same thing but the way i did it it shorts a diode series and is safer pm me i can give ya some blues on it

Why do u prefer the 3.3k?

it give it more of a lope idle then the 10k and i was wanting more lope idle.
so i tried all the way down to a 1.5k but that one would shut my truck of when i hit the switch....
