So I did the 10k mod....

I did the mod with 2 different resistors, a 10k and a 4.7k(these were the only 2 that my r-shack had)

The 10k did nothing, i am going to try it with a new resistor to see if the resistor was bad, but when i put in the 4.7k the idle 'loped' and it made a ton of low end power and had throttle response up the rear. the wierd thing is if i would take off driving it with the 4.7k it would be fine till about half throttle and the it wouldnt go, i could floor it and nothing would happen, i actually think it would start to slow down. if i feathered the throttle it would pick up and run 50-55 mph, but again if i floored it, nothing.

What I am wondering is do i have a bad ICP or HPOP going out, or is it normal for that resistor to make it un-drivable? with nothing on it the truck runs fine...or seems too. I changed the oil in the injection system yesterday and thought maybe it was low and thats why it would fall on its face but i checked that after it sat without running for a half hour and the level was fine, in fact it was full to just under the plug.
