I got my Suncoast right from right from Suncoast (they are local) and spent more than $4500 but that included a huge cooler, mag hytec pan and a torque converter. It's held up good to everything I have thrown at it for 75,000+ miles though. I don't know what they offer now for a warranty, but I got a 2 year unlimited mileage/power warranty on mine. It expired about a year ago though.

How many miles did you have before it went out? I have 167,000 on mine and I am nervous - I know it is just a ticking time bomb. I don't mistreat it or anything I just know it will eventually come to an end well before anything else.

I wasn't trying to sway anyone from BTS, infact, if it gets to the point I need another transmission I will probably go with BTS. At the time it was very convenient because Suncoast was local (as in less than 50 mi away) so it made sense to go with them. I am happy with it, but continue to hear nothing but good about BTS.

CaryT, as far as it being a waste of money? Well, I doubt I would ever buy one seperate with it being so expensive, but I was already spending so much...why not. It certainly doesn't hurt anything and I can think of a few things, even if they are somewhat minor to most people that it should help improve. Each to there own I guess.
