Help!

Hey i need help im new to the diesels and want to get somemore power out of my 96 f350 and i have no idea where to start upgrading. Can anybody help?

Start with stage 1's (baby swamps)
Regulated return
Exhaust
Intake
Chip (TS)

1. Gauges. Boost, Pyro, Trans temp if auto
2. Exhaust.....4" turbo back straight exhaust
3. DIY intake / Tymar intake
4. 6 Position chip, w/ custom tunes..... many out there choose the best one for you. I'll be going to PHP when I get mine, but to each their own
5. Plan on a upgraded tranny

auto? manual? if its an auto they usually dont last long with a chip and all, manual the clutch will start to slip to. but like they said always gauges first, than down pipe(helps alot but a pain, stcok is flat so u have to bang the fire wall out to get the 3" in) than u can just gut the cat or spend the money on a whole exhaust, than intake they have the napa 6637 filter do a search to find the write up, or spend a few hundred on an intake, than a chip, only custom! those canned tunes dont do much for 7.3s. like banks, edge, bullydog, hypertec and so on get a tw,dp, php, swamps of something. will seem like double the power. than see how the tranny does. most get valve bodies done and TC done, me i have to but a sb or centreforce or luk or valair clutch

auto valve body, torque converter, output shaft, alot of people go with bts(brians truck shop) and just buy built trannies......for manual a single mass flywheel and upgraded clutch. i have the southbend 350hp clutch in mine and has help up till now, might be going with valair
