its 6637 but dont get it from napa thell charge you 65 bucks,
go to fleetfilters.com, its the cheapest place and type in 6637 for the number it will be shipped in a week for like 30 bucks if you dont want anything fancy just a piece of 4 inch exhaust pipe will do to connect it to the boot the original intake box disconnected from. if you want to get fancy go on ebay look up mandrel bend solutions, buy a 4 inch 45 degree intercooler bend, a 4 inch intercooler boot, 3 4 inch lamps (one for filter). also a few cans of brake cleaner are recommended to clean the tube out since you will need to slightly trim it to fit. this will cost you probably and additional 45-50 bucks if you want really fancy go to FilterCovers and order a filter cover from pete which will make your filter last longer and look better, additional 30 bucks then if you wanted the fanciest of the fancy intakes, go to home depot or your garage and get some primer and the color of your choice and paint the outside only to make it look like a legit intake. |

I got everything from napa, the filter is 54 (at the one here) a 4" 45* exhaust elbow is 27 and a few clamps to put it together. i didnt need to trim anything, just slid it all together and clamped it down(mine installed from the valve cover out). I also used a couple of zip ties to hold the filter from moving at all. took less than 20 minutes to put in.
Just for a note, i will not use replacement filters from napa, they are too expensive, but when you want to do the job easily and fast it is the way to go $80 intake system and it makes ALOT of difference, plus it sounds good too. I polished the piece of exhaust pipe that i got for mine for a few minutes with some aluminum polish and that was a year ago and people still think i put stainless or chrome pipe in there! |
