What did you pay for 6-pos chip

So my truck aint pulling the trailer good enough. All I read is "custom tune" this and that. Then I started pricing em! $425-$600!
Sell me on this, If you bought one somewhere and love it can u post a link? I searched the big names, DP, TDP etc.
I wont go Bullydog(i know bout them...problems in past) Who has had an Edge, Superchips, etc and then went custom tune? BTW i am TOWING, i dont care about smoke! thanks

Power Hungry Performance 6 pos chip with shipping about $360. They have towing tunes and the works. I love mine! As for the ebay chip... go for a "custom" chip. You won't go wrong. TW is another to look at.

What i did was i got the ts chip for 225 then had it burnt By swamps with custom tunes for $100. so i came out at $325

i have TW tunes and love them they make a big diff when towing i know he offers a tow and a heavy tow tune also i have the heavy one

I have his tunes and am really happy. PHP is another one that i am hearing alot of good things about. Raul(stealth Automotive, site vendor) also sells Tony's products.

I bought the PHP Flex 2 chip about 8 months ago.
I bought the burner that allows me to have PHP create custom tunes for me, and I can then download the tunes to my laptop, attach the burner, and reload the chip with custom tunes. I am happy with it.
I would suggest researching this product if you plan on continuing to upgrade your truck over time. Right now PHP is closed due to a major medical problem in their family but they will hopefully, be back soon.

I went with TW..bought the chip from him and it's free except shipping to send chip in and have it re-burned when I make changes to the truck. TW, DP, Swamps, PHP all have good tunes. Some people like one over the other. Instead of paying a lot for a chip you can sometimes find cheap TS 6pos chips on craigslist or Ebay. Sometimes in the Classifieds of Diesel forums. If you can find one cheap enough you can have it reburned.

Also it is usually best to get custom programming instead of buying a standard TS or Bully Dog chip.
