D60 Hub View?
Through the help of this site I found a D60 ‘91 king pin a while back and have been gathering parts for it. I have rounded up rotors, pads, brake lines, calipers, seals, bearings, sway bar links and hardware.
Over this time I have been looking for a good exploded view of the hubs and can not find one. Does anyone have a view of the hub assembly? I want to be able to pull apart the hub and know how it goes back together - I know it should not be too difficult but I have never had to do this before and I do not want any surprises. Any info, pointers, or advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks. |

this is the best one i can find
http://www.powerstrokeshop.com/schem...al/T023500.gif you can kind of see the hub assebbly off to the left, while you guys are in there doing the swap i highly recommend changing the leaf spring and shackle bushings. the old ttb axle destroy these due to the twisting nature and leads to clucking and eventually death wobble once they get bad, mine were toast when i swapped my axle out last month and there's only 86k mile on that truck. they looked hard at first but with a drill bit and a sawzall or a good press the come right out and the new ones slide in. good luck with the swap Last edited by ryandamo; 01-23-2010 at 10:14 PM. |
