Bullydog Downpipe
I'm looking at a 3 inch downpipe from summit racing, did a search and didn't see anyone giving an opinion on the bullydog dp. Has anyone ran one and whats your opinion on it. I'm running a diy intake with napa filter, going to an E-fuel system this coming week. I've done a kitty delete and trashed the muff with 3.5 straight pipe. I'm not looking to make huge amounts of power just get the turbo spooling up a little quicker than 22-2300 rpm. I've also read where folks had to chip the trucks to really get the potential from the dp, economics prevents this at this point so is it any real use to dp it? Its a 97 350 dually CC, the engines got 106k on it with 5 speed, 4.10 rear, I'm looking to going to 3.55's when I can find a truck to pull the rear out of. Like I said not going racing, just want to get the power down a little lower for towing. Thanks Whit

I believe that the dp on my truck is a bully dog one but im not sure as it was on there when i bought it. you really dont have to chip your truck to get potential from the dp but if your goin to be towing a chip with a tow setting on it will help you out a lot.

there is his phone number and email on there. he does not have any online ordering. But give him a call and he can send you pictures of the DP before you bought it. Dale is a good guy and knows his stuff. |
