17*HPOP on a 95, what do i need to know

Ive read in places that to put a 17*hpop on a 95 that you have to swap the 17 guts into the 15 housing. that the IPR wont work. And worst of all that it wont work at all due to computer issues. Someone set the rumors and whatnot straight please, Thanks for anyones help on this topic

the 94 95 have a drain back and you can't use the 96 and up IPR unless you run the Adrenaline

the drain back ports are different on the 94.5/95 MY trucks....did a little research and that's why. the ports are in different places so it seems

so it would seem that i can put the guts in mine and then be good plus i will have a 15* core to send in later on down the road and not have down time waiting on an adrenaline or something like that. Will my IPR work still? people say stuff is different? Sorry for all the questions i guess this is the one topic i couldnt get a straight answer on and im lost

I just did my 95.I sent my 15* pump and a 17* pump to Joey at Terminator Engineering and he built my 15* pump for me.Works great.He is really reasonable and has super fast turnaround time.

that might be what i have to do then, although i might try it myself, how hard can the swap of internals be?

I'm not sure on that.I felt that I would let the pro take care of mine.Its too costly to screw up something from not knowing rather than paying $50 and knowing that it is right!
