Dual Crank case vent mod

What about adding another crankcase vent on the cover with the oil cap? Just tap and thread it to add a connector for heater hose.
I know jobe performance sold a kit that did this but added it to the intake air to provide more avalible air for boost. I was wondering if doin this would be benifical to cool both heads?
I have an extra cap to cut up.

does it really provide any sort of performance upgrade?
