TW extreme setting wont shift

So I just got my tw in the other day and i love it! But in the extreme setting it wont shift into overdrive and i dont know why it just stays in 3rd any ideas why? or anyone with the same problem?

Does it stay in 3rd or in the half gear unlock deal before overdrive....

I guess I didnt check, it was the first time I had it in that setting and i didnt stay in it long cause it wouldnt shift. Im pretty sure it was in 3rd not 4th with the converter unlocked but Ill double check tonight. I just know going 60mph on my way home it was at like 2,200rpm so it was higher than I normaly am at

You should be able to feel it. You go 1st,2nd,3rd,Half gear,4th. It will just help the solution. I still don't know the cause I would call Tony Wildman probebly something is screwy with the burn or not connected properly. Maybe theres a contact not touching right or such...

You might want to check all your brake bulbs and tail light bulbs especially the 3rd brake bulbs in back of cab. If they are burnt out the PCM will think the brake is on and will not lock the Torque Converter, with the Auto tranny. Pulled my utility trailer at night and was wondering why the TC wouldn't lock making it feel like it was only in 3 not OD....replaced the bulb and bingo....good to go!

after driving tonight it does go into 4th but the torque converter doesnt lock and in any of the other tunes on the chip it locks up just fine so idk

I could be wrong but when I was looking to buy a TW chip, I was told that my tranny wouldnt shift into high gear with the extreme tune. It is burned that way on the chip. But like I said before, I could be wrong....also, my truck is a 2000.....

The extreme and sled are 2 different tunes.

Hee was talking about the sled tune... Extreme should shift into every gear and lock the TC in OD.
